Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn The Keeper Of The Lake
60 FPS 720 HD no cutscenes. This is about the fastest run of The Keeper of the Lake I've had but this place isn't very speed run friendly due to the high HP of the bosses.
3:45-Einhander-The first boss. It's a game of keep away. Keep the canisters away from the boss's AoEs and from your own, if small ones blow up anyone caught around them will be damaged and if the big sized ones blow up the entire party will take some sizeable damage. Medium canisters also effect the entire party and can chain together so be careful. Some strategies involve blowing up the smaller canisters on purpose to make healing the big ones easier when the time comes. The boss also will pull everyone and the canisters towards him at certain points so be prepared to push the canisters away from him fast. We had some issues here but it was still way smoother than my first run.
13:04-Magitek Gunship. Pretty easy. Just kill the adds when they appear. If he targets you lead him around so he won't spread the fire bombs too much, stay near the edges. The boss will eventually target two people in a row. Really isn't hard just as long as you DON"T run through the middle.
20:08-Midgardsormr. The boss himself cannot be tanked and uses a ton of AoEs. This battle can be described as an onslaught of AoEs mostly. After a little bit he'll revive a dragon Add. This Dragon add should be tanked further away from the boss, making it take more damage. The Dragon Add will also use AoEs of its own. Just have to dodge them.
At around 50% of the first Dragon Add's HP an Einhander like dragon will appear carrying a shield generator, kill it ASAP or you will wipe. You need its shield generator to protect your party from Midgardsormr's wipe attack.
After the first dragon dies, another will be summoned. The second Mirage Dragon should be tanked as close as possible to the boss. The boss himself will have a new move a fire AoE that will expand and erupt just dodge it and make sure the Add doesn't get hit by it, if the Add is hit by it it'll receive a buff. Finally at 50% the shield generator carrying Einhander add will appear again, kill it to survive.
After the second Mirage Dragon dies, Midgardsormr will be nearly dead. Finish him off it's as simple as that. This time around the Melee DPS player Limit Breaked the Mirage Dragon which paid off I think since Midgardsormr only has like 4% in the end.
