So here I am playing a new(ish) MMO by name of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Overall my impressions are definitely biased by my 5+ years of World of Warcraft, and comparisons were inevitably drawn. I must say I like the ability to be able to switch class at will (though you need to level them) but there are other systems I'm not so sure about.

Here I play a Thaumaturge, which as far as I can tell, is the best AOE class in the game, and can later be 'upgraded' to the classical Black Mage.

All videos in my Final Fantasy XIV series will be dated to give perspective on the current patch status, and my own character's development.
