Final Fantasy XIV ARR The Rising 2016

Event runs from Saturday August 27th 2016 1:00 AM PDT to Monday September 12th 2016 at 7:59 AM PDT.
To start this seasonal questline, pick it up from the Crystal Caravan Leader at Ul'dah - Steps of Nald X:10.3 Y:9.2.
The vendor is found in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at X:10 Y:9 and is the NPC named Rising Vendor so she's hard to miss.
This year there isn't much to it, it's just do these quests. The repeatable quest, The Show Must Go On does have different outcomes depending on your choice but you don't fail it regardless of what you choose. I took the normal/true ending I guess you could call it, so slightly less goofy than the others. You just buy some of the seasonal stuff with gil from the vendor.
So this year it is just some furnishings, two minions and the new Meteor Shower item. The minions aren't bad though but man it was a tough act to follow up on the Rising 2015, no pun intended.
I will say upon seeing all of the outcomes of the play, I didn't give it quite enough credit. It is amusing to see the dire events that took place prior to ARR being acted out in a more light hearted manner.
