To start the quest, speak to the NPC Mayaru Moyaru at Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks X:11.5 Y: 13.8

Rewards can be bought from P'obyano at Eastern La Noscea- Bloodshore - Costa del Sol X:33 Y:29. More rewards become purchasable once you complete this questline fully. You get vouchers from running the seasonal FATEs or doing the repeatable quests.

Sorry no commentary, although I did not intend for it to be that way. But I wanted to avoid issues on that bomb quest so I played later at night than usual.

Luckily there isn't too much nasty about this year, well aside from that REALLY poorly thought out capturing quest.

4:32-Dashing and Burning. Very simple, just get on the mount and put on the flaming dummies at the designated locations.

7:28-Hot 'n Cold. Simple as well, just make sure to buy Rolanberry Shaved Ice from The Iceman at X:31.6 Y:29.0. Other than that it's just finding her within the area on the map. Hide and Seek esque.

11:16-Who Let the Bombs Out. A truly awful quest. You have to weaken and capture bombs at the designated area where they spawn. Problem is other players can target them and they don't scale or sync to your level. I just went on my level 32ish Astro and didn't have issues killing them. People can kill the bombs you are working on so..Best to play at non peak hours on bigger servers at times. I didn't have much trouble actually, only one person might have trolled but they only killed one bomb before running off so I think it was just a misguided attempt at helping. There was also that person you see trying to steal the bombs on me, but they failed while I succeeded. :P Least they got the hint they couldn't bum off my bombs.

17:06-In Deep Water. Just use the mount to easily get gold, the bombs all gather up in the center there. You don't need to have a target to start casting the mount's skill. Just spamming Flash also works here for some reason. This FATE and the following FATE are the best for grinding vouchers.

17:46-Trial by Fire-The mount is definitely easier for getting credit here IMO. The bombs are more spread out.

23:12-Armor and poses. The masks they wear are sadly not apart of the rewards. It'll take you forty seven vouchers to get all the poses, armour pieces, music roll and the outdoor furnishing.

Actually, while the bomb quest was a total blunder, at least the devs are aware and will eventually fix it. Probably sometime this week.

The rest of this event wasn't bad. The ranger poses are hilarious and it'll be neat to see what they bring next year. I just hope for some Chocobo barding, maybe a mount and fun dyeable masks personally. Oh and making sure to include the Rangers theme song for orchestration, it's a shame we didn't get it this year.
