60 FPS 720 HD. Taking on all of the NPCs in the Gold Saucer who play Triple Triad. Do note this was near the release of the patch and the NPCs cards might get nerfed supposedly.

1:05-King Elmer III. This guy is actually quite possible to beat with the starter deck and I showed you one of the ways to do it. The reason for this is due to it being a Plus match, With Plus, you add adjacent numbers (each side is separate); if they have the same sum, you capture each card. That's how I won.

Beating King Elmer is great since he can drop Bahamut or Godbert which are both really nice cards. Do note the drop rate is pretty sketchy so it may take you a while.

2:23-Aurifort of the Three Clubs. I hate this battle since it's a Random match meaning five cards are randomly picked from your deck. His deck always has quite a few nice cards but you probably will get stuck with your basic starter cards here. So a lot of luck in winning this one.

4:00-Ruhtwyda of the Three Hearts. Ascension match. A rule that affects cards that are grouped into a specific type, such as "Primal" or "Beastman." When placed on the playing grid, the number values on these cards are increased by one for every card of that type that is in play. Numbers that are increased to "11" or more are considered to be of "A" rank. So in other words it's something that is hard to take advantage of unless you have specific cards.

She also has Sudden Death on which means after you draw means your hand will be the cards you had control over. If five consecutive matches occur then it'll be declared a draw but more than likely it'll be settled before then.

6:00-Jonas of the Three Spades. He plays with the Same rule on meaning if your card matches the numbers on two or more cards on each side, you will capture those cards. That's actually how it works I was not sure.

7:29-Guhtwint of the Three Diamonds. The EASIEST opponent in the Gold Saucer by far. This guy has some nice cards but his AI is pretty dopey.

Also if you're curious as to why you can't put all your best cards into one deck? That's because the amount of unique cards you've collected determines your deck restrictions.

1.Less than 30 Cards
Allowed one card with a rarity of two stars or higher.

2.Between 30 and 59 Cards
No restriction on cards with a rarity of two stars or less.
Allowed one card with a rarity of three stars or higher.

3.60 Cards or More
No restriction on cards with a rarity of three stars or less.
Allowed one card with a rarity of four stars or higher.

So is a good idea to get out and collect a bunch to make better decks.

That about covers it. A great site for locations of cards is here

But yeah you don't have to grind King Elmer if you find it too tedious I personally did tons of runs for a Garuda card from HM first.
