When i posted the ending to Shadowbringers a few years ago, I was called a "monopoly man" over my glam and had my Cassie Earring pointed out. So I decided to one-up the stakes by watching the cutscenes as a crafter class, and also wearing a Blitzring glam on top of the Cassie.

The shoehorning of a new villain was honestly predictable, as it is very FF-like to hyperfixate on a given antagonist and then show the greater threat to it all. Meteion was a fun fight, but man, we were all expecting Zodiark and Hydaelin to be it. Boy were we wrong.

I personally thought Hydaelin!Venat was the mastermind of it all, but it turned out she was benevolet until the end. And that was heart warming after we went back in time to Elpis. Furhtermore, getting her mount at the end of the story was extra heart warming.

The fight with Zenos was really fun-- I had some luck being a Scholar so the overall lack of vuln stacks means I could excog and critlo my way through most of his moves when I didn't dodge. lol

I really want to see how they move things forward from this point as they wrapped up a lot. Emet Selch hinted at assorted locations we had yet to visit. So we'll see.
