Final Fantasy XIV The Howling Eye

This is the Howling Eye on normal mode. Just for old time's sake mostly. I never went back and revisited this place for a video. I just always heard horror stories about it for some reason, some even saying it's the nastiest version of the fight.
It's not hard once you know all of the gimmicks though. Keep her away from the pillars since she can destroy them. Don't hide behind the pillars unless she is about to use Mistral Song, kill the Adds ASAP.
In the second phase try not to stay too close to her but you can't go too far due to the newly created vortex she generates. Stay behind her to avoid Mistral Song which she'll cast in the middle of the room. When she teleports to opposite side of the room she'll use Mistral Shriek, to avoid major damage stay as far away from her as possible.
She also spawns more adds in phase 2 and did in this video but we killed her before they could do anything. Normally though it pays to kill them as they'll randomly attack players with ranged attacks.
What else can I say? I really liked the main scenario cutscenes after the battle, it was pretty cool.
My original video of this trial was 11 minutes long, this one is closer to 4 minutes. I like it.
