Final Fantasy XIV - The Orbonne Monastery (Full Blue Mage)
0Oh lord, this was madly entertaining. I been into doing Blue Mage a lot recently (mainly because it's just different for me to do something at the moment) so when I saw a party finder, nearly full mind you (4 spots were left), for an all Blue Mage run of Orbonne Monastery, I jumped at the chance.
I have to admit, the Ivalice raids in Stormblood aren't exactly my favorite. I don't know what it was about them, I felt the story was meh, and I think I judged the raids on them unfortunately. From my experience, they are the trickiest to remember it seems. So doing this without a traditional group of raiders, it posed challenging in some aspects.
The main hard part was the second boss, Thunder God. We did unfortunately wipe here, but in my experience, it's common to happen. Since we had all Blue Mages, I felt like we had to do certain mechanics, that especially involved tethers. I have to say though, this was such a fun experience all around. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm gonna love it if and when the FFXIV team decides to raise the level cap to 80 and we can do Shadowbringers content with them xD
