Haggar looks a little better in the Player 2 position than he does in Player 1 when this screen has two characters in it. That said, he should probably still aim his deep calming breaths at a more useful spot...say, the fuse slightly to his right (Our left).

As a personal note, this was more-or-less the first version of this screen I ever saw, except with Cody instead of Guy in the 1-player position (My cousin and I were in an arcade when I was about 6 or 7, and we happened to Game Over at just about the same time). Being that young, and lacking the context for Haggar's animation (Which looks just fine in single-player), I thought he was nodding his head like "Oh my God we're gonna die", in contrast to Cody's shaking his head "No no no please". This probably made the screen stick with me in my head even more than it would have otherwise, honestly.
