0:00 Verdant Plains
The lizard enemies are tough, and one of the quests requires you to defeat a giant Lizard King.
You also have to look for Sir Cedric's sword, which while powerful, isn't the strongest in the game. The strongest weapons and armor are in the final dungeon, so you may want to try to survive without upgrades until you get all those, just to save money.
You can find a piece of historical evidence for the Lost History sidequest.
Don't approach the ruined building until you've fully explored the map. Once you go in, you'll run into Eldareth, who chose now of all times to pay his respects at his old home. Celeste tries to convince him to stop and he briefly hesistates, but decides to start a boss fight anyways.

He can slam the ground to perform a radius AOE, fire a laser, fire multiple projectiles, and summon long-lasting tornados. He can also teleport, which can be annoying if you're trying to hit him with a skill that has a long animation. Once his HP is lowered enough, he'll stop because he needs to return to base.

Victor somehow figured out that we spied on him for Claire, but now he wants to work with Claire for the sake of business.
If you return to any dungeon, you'll get a quest where Ruby wants to return to the academy to look for a letter from her parents. However, the mail carrier got attacked in the Zebi Desert, so we have to look for all the mail there first. The prize is Zaneth's staff, but it's not the strongest one. We also get a copy of his diary, which explains that he did something he regrets.
30:53 Ashen Order
At the Ashen Order, if you collected all the historical evidence from the various sidequests, you'll learn that Zaneth used forbidden magic to fight back against the Izurian invaders, but ended up destroying both Akleim and Izuria. This magic opened a path to another plane.
Talk to Katrina to report in the sword. She states that a rival knight killed Sir Cedric to claim the sword, but it was haunted.
We discuss the recent events with Zacharias and Malachi, and suspect that the artifacts are corrupting Eldareth's mind. Malachi tells us we need to find a key to get past Eldareth's barrier, and another high-ranking Shadowborn might have it.
We run into Quinn, who became worried when he learned we fought Eldareth. He finally reconciles with Celeste, since he realizes that these missions might end up killing them and they won't get another chance to make up.
Yvonne is in the Aurean Forest and she might have a key.
49:28 Additional Quests
Don't forget to report about the Lizard King.
There are some more minor quests about polling people for desserts and helping Jasper with a song idea.
One quest involves commissioning a custom sword for Quinn. You'll have to talk to both Victor and Claire and gather ingredients for them, including a special key item in Elshire. At the end of the quest, it turns out Quinn did the same for Celeste. Unfortunately, this new sword is the second strongest weapon, so you may want to hold off on applying a scroll to it.
Remember that Count Draveki play? Now we have to do a sequel, but with Quinn acting as the hero and Celeste acting as the vampire's assistant.
