FINALLY Opening The D&D Rules Expansion Gift Set with MONSTERS OF THE MULTIVERSE (Is it worth it?)
We're delighted to take a look at the new D&D 5E Rules Expansion Gift set, that includes three tomes of goodness, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, and Monster's of the Multiverse. What's particularly exciting about Monsters of the Multiverse, is that it isn't readily available yet - you can ONLY get it through buying the set (for now!).
Now you don't need to be an experienced dnd players to enjoy these, but they are considered sort of next steps. In Apple Music terms (apologies!), we've gone from Essentials (Players Handbook, DMs Guide and Monster Manual) to Next Steps, without going so far as deep cuts. It does mean though, you haven't got to purchase every single album to get ahold of the best tracks though.
Who knew that metaphor would work so well?
Ultimately, they're framed pretty well as a gift. Retail cost is £142.99, but you can get some epic savings on it, where we've seen Amazon at this link: https://amzn.to/3ttkhld (it's an affiliate link, but does not impact editorial integrity and only used when relevant) for less than £90. The former is worth the money if you haven't got all that came before, but the latter is a great deal.
It's nice seeing the collection altogether, and whilst my eye is forever cast towards the altcover editions that are STUNNING (just imagine that meme, you know the one I mean), this works out pretty nicely too. My recommendation is to get the set that matches your shelf, or the spines will be forever frustrating.
Are you still reading? Wow, you multiclassed as a wizard, didn't you?
Seeing as you're still here, you may as well head over to our website – https://ttgami.ng/3hHuTaR (yes, it's one where I can be nosey as to how many of you actually clicked it). Lastly, be sure to cast message and pop a comment below. It's lovely to hear from you all, and would love to know your thoughts on this one!
