In Mega Man X2 for the SNES, there's normally no password that will allow you to continue a game with the Shoryuken upgrade (aka the Dragon Punch). However, there is an EXTRA SECRET password that involves special button inputs that allows you to continue a game with the Shoryuken upgrade and it's VERY COOL.

Just like in Mega Man X, there's a hidden capsule that will grant you the powers of a Street Fighter special move.

Normally neither game allows you to CONTINUE your game through a password that lets you keep those upgrades. But using this special code, you can enter a password that will set you up with the Shoryuken!

Enter the following password:

Now highlight a number on the bottom row and hold DOWN AND LEFT. Keep holding those directions, and IN ORDER hold R, B, and Y. The game will accept that password and now you will start off on X-Hunter Base Stage 1 with the Shoryuken! You normally can't have the Shoryuken in this stage at all!

Now if you want the shoryuken AND all three Zero parts, use this password:

Enter THE SAME INPUTS as the code above and this will start you in the same place with the Shoryuken AND the Zero body parts.
