I had already completed Week 4 Tides Of War / Snostorm and unlocked the A/G M 42 gun, but I wanted to complete every single challenge. So here we are -- Completing both Greater Purpose AND Rejection challenges.

Greater Purpose
Flags are captured by being the dominant team in the area around the flag. This is accompanied by having more teammates in the designated area than the opposing team. Completion requirement: Capture 3 points in Grand Operations. Reward: 14500 Chapter XP (Overture).

Rejection
A defensive kill is accomplished by achieving a kill of an attacker who is in your team's captured objective area, or by achieving a kill inside your team's objective area. Completion requirement: Kill 5 enemies while defending an objective. Reward: 7400 chapter xp (Overture).

Thankfully, I did not experience any issues with getting these tides of war challenges to register; there was no bug or progress issues here.
