This is an improvement to the twenty-second chapter of the Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi draft playthrough, completed in 7 turns (156 total). So, I wasn't happy with my previous turn count, and felt I could improve it further, so I did just that. It involved a lot of awkward movement, strangely beneficial rescues, and a bit of luck.

Once again, the paladins head for the throne. I do a few rescue drops along the way, some to help Lalum along, and others to help the paladins past all that annoying terrain. Roy doesn't even get picked up until turn 5, as I need all my paladins free from encumberance until then.

In doing this I miss out on a few benefits that I gained last time. The Goddess Icon is the immediate one, but that's only the price of a pair of boots. I see a little less combat on my foot units, and the level ups gained aren't as good there. I did get a six point level up on Noah though, which was surprising.

Alan was close to dying at the start of turn 6, having been hit by the boss' Purge attack. Even with Physic, Alan was at risk of death on the enemy phase, so I had to do some trading in order to get him a vulnerary, and still allow Roy to be dropped on that turn. This strat ended up being a lot more risky in a few ways, but I was still able to kill the boss, reach the Guiding Ring and seize on turn 7, so it all worked out. Oh, and I got Echidna/Lalum C support again, so I'm happy there too.
