It's easy to forget randomizer cares not for in-game shops.
Chapter begins at 00:48

My line of thought during this chapter:
1) Get Marcus to buy some much needed Fire tomes before enemies make a full charge.
2) Save crappy Erk from killing himself.
3) Survive the east enemies with crappy units.
4) Save Priscilla's village.
5) Deal with Erik before he rushes my weaker units.

Needless to say the first two steps were nothing but trouble. I was forced to use Rescue staff to bring Hector along because Marcus had not nearly enough attacks left to deal with the enemies on the way to the Vendor.

I wanted to keep my Rescue staff with at least one last charge because Battle Before Dawn and all that stuff.

The east enemies were the most worrying things in this map, but thankfully they hold still (unless you get in their range) until Erik decides to come out after you personally, so that gives me more than enough time to buy Fire tomes and make Matthew useful again.

Once Marcus buys the Fire tomes everything is more or less easy to deal with, the other units are bad, but they more or less can pull their own weight (except freaking Eliwood).
