Alear and the others make it to the Mountainous Region located in Gradlon, and it is where the Fell Dragon Shard is located. When they arrive there, they are somehow taken back in the past, and Alear comes across her past self, back when she was a Fell Dragon, and Alear learns about what had happened in her past, and how many siblings she had lost because of Sombron and the Corrupted.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Time to start Chapter 24, and we go through so much dialogue before the battle. Alear and the group are taken back in time, where Alear meets up with her past self, and she learns about her past, and the group even encounter Zephia, back when Alear was a Fell Dragon working for her. I do like the monotone voice they gave Past Alear, specially when she, or they, tells Alear about the Corrupted and her siblings.
This battle has a time limit, you must complete it in 15 turns, it would be 20 turns on Normal difficulty, and what makes this hard is that the Fell Dragon Shard creates avalanches that push units back in that lane, and boulders can be used to prevent units from being pushed back further, or you can use Obstruct or Corrin's Vein of Ice to help out. Starting from turn 2, reinforcements will appear, and those happen every two turns, and there are Corrupted Wyrms and Ballistae to watch out for.
There are two weapons you can get from enemies, and those are S Rank weapons, the first one is Ukonvasara, which I am sure we have an axe with that name in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but anyway, it is an S Rank Axe with a smash effect and unit cannot do follow up attacks or even attack first when using it. The other one is Lendabair, which a Sniper on the middle Ballista has, it is a bow wielded by legends, and the only units that can wield that bow are Snipers, Alcryst can use that in his exclusive class.
Then we have the boss fight, and this one is a really tricky opponent, this is because Past Alear has Marth equipped. The music that plays when fighting Past Alear is called Defective, this is the same song that played when fighting evil Veyle in Chapter 21, and fittingly enough, both of them have used Marth as their Emblem during those battles. Veyle and Alear do have dialogue when fighting Past Alear, and while Past Alear does not have any ranged moves, Lodestar Rush can defeat one of your units in one attack, unless you have a unit with high enough Defense to try and withstand it, the Rapier can take out your Cavalry or Armored units, and Falchion puts Alear at a huge disadvantage. As this is Alear as a Fell Dragon, she has Fell Spirit, which was what Veyle had when we fought her a an enemy, and it reduces the engage meters of foes within 2 spaces away. Past Alear has Perceptive, Unyielding, and Divine Spirit, and she has very high Speed, making her an evasive foe, the best way to fight Past Alear is to use engage attacks if you have saved them for her, or get in some chain attacks with your units, Past Alear has two Revival Stones.
After the battle, we explore the Mountainous Region, and by the way, as this battle took place in the past, skirmishes cannot happen there, so this is the only time we can ever go there. Then after that, we go through more cutscenes, where Zephia talks with Sombron about having a child, at least we get some backstory on Zephia during then, after how badly she, or well, her present self, treated Veyle, as well as the Four Hounds, and even going as far to kill Marni. Then after what happens with Alear in the past, we then return back to the present, and Veyle senses the location of the final Fell Dragon Shard, and the one guarding it, but we don't find out till the next chapter.
