A chiptune arrangement of the Fire Emblem theme using the Konami VRC6 expansion. I was originally going to base it on the version that appeared in Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem, hence the intro, tempo, and key. However I decided to take some more liberties with it.

===== About the VRC6 Chip: =====

The Virtual ROM Controller 6 is a cartridge-based graphic and sound expansion developed by Konami for the Famicom. It was used in 3 games: Akumajō Densetsu (Castlevania III), Mōryō Senki MADARA, and Esper Dream II. The expansion adds 3 additional sound channels (2 square waves and 1 sawtooth) to the Famicom's sound output. The Western version of the Famicom, the NES, does not support loading sound channels from the cartridge, and was thus limited to Japanese audiences. The recent hit, Shovel Knight, uses this sound expansion.
