It is time for another paralogue, and this one is Petra and Bernadetta's paralogue, and this one is different on Crimson Flower compared to other routes, well the battle itself isn't different, it's the enemies we deal with. Petra asks Bernadetta to accomany her to Brigid, which will likely be under attack by the Church forces, so Petra and the others set off to Brigid to prevent the Church forces for getting her homeland involved.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is one of three paralogues that is available on all routes, but the enemies you fight on Crimson Flower compared to other routes are completely different, in this case, Church Soldiers are our opponents.
The objective of that paralogue is to have Petra reach her destination, but what you really have to do is defeat every enemy on this map, and there are reinforcements that appear when you have Petra wait on the western stronghold, two turns after that, two Fortress Knights and a Bishop will appear as ally reinforcements. As for eastern reinforcements, they will spawn if Bernadetta is near the eastern stronghold, and as they are Fortress Knights, having a magic user can help get past them.
If either on Turn 10, or Petra reaches her destination, or after defeating every enemy on the map, more reinforcements will show up, and this is the one thing this route has different to other routes, Catherine appears on the southwestern corner, on other routes, it would be Hubert, and for the commanders, they are a Holy Knight, Paladin, and Pegasus Knight, have your bow users ready for the Pegasus Knights.
Catherine is really tough, she has Thunderbrand, so she is capable of taking out your units in one round of combat, and she has Swordfaire and Sword Crit +10, so she has a high chance of landing a critical hit with Thunderbrand, she has Immune Status, a unique skill that makes her immune to status conditions. For some reason, only Bernadetta has unique dialogue when she fights Catherine, despite the two never interacting at all in the main story. Because of how dangerous Thunderbrand is, I recommend having your ranged fighters take on Catherine, and maybe use some Gambits to weaken her before finishing her off with a powerful Combat Art.
As for the commanders, the Holy Knight has Aura and some dangerous abilities like Poison Strike, Poison, and Pass, the Paladin has Terrain Resistance, Swordbreaker+, and Death Blow, and the Pegasus Knight has Lancefaire, Swordbreaker+, and Defiant Spd. They each have Battalions, the Holy Knight has Holy Knights of Seiros, which has Assault Troop, the Paladin has Knights of Seiros, which have Blaze for the Gambit, and the Pegasus Knight has Seiros Pegasus Co., which has Assembly.
Once you have defeated Catherine and all of the Church Soldiers, you have completed this paralogue, and there is extra dialogue if you have Berndaetta and Petra at B Support before this paralogue. You earn three Battalions, one for Bernadetta, while Petra has two.
The one for Bernadetta is Varley Archers, which requires B Rank in Authority to equip, and it provides boosts to Hit, Protection, and Charm, the great boosts to Hit can help units with accuracy, and the Gambit is Fusillade.
The first of Petra's two Battalions is Brigid Hunters, which is a B Rank Battalion that gives good boosts to Strength, Crit, Avoid, and Charm, and the Gambit is Poison Tactic. The other is Brigid Mercenaries, an E Rank Battalion with Onslaught as the Gambit, not that good as you get it that late in the game.
When you talk to Berndaetta at the Monastery after completing this paralogue, she will reference it by talking about visiting Brigid with Petra, so it is good to see a paralogue tie in with Monastery dialogue.
Completing the battle quest unlocks the Dark Merchant, who sells some very rare items, like tea leaves, gifts, and Arcane Crystals, and he even sells food, which you can use for cooking, as there are some that give you good stat boosts when you cook a dish.
