We have captured the Great Bridge of Myrrdin, and one month after that, we hear about the Battle at Gronder Field, which resulted in Edelgard having to retreat after being injured in battle, Dimitri being killed, and Claude's fate is left unknown. Byleth then has an unexpected encounter with Dimitri, who we are not sure if this is a dream or not after learning about his fate.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

For some reason, Chapter 17 takes place on the 5th month, and the Chapter is "The Impregnable Fotress", because on other routes, you would have the battle at Gronder Field for Chapter 17, so we have skipped one month, so Ferdinand had the unfortunate honour of having his birthday not being celebrated, unlike Seteth who's birthday is never celebrated.
Then a Church Soldier comes and reports to Seteth about the fates of the house leaders at the battle at Gronder Field, and the timing of the music when we hear about Dimitri's death is well timed, that song is The Dream is Over, it is the song that would play if any of your units were defeated in battle if you are playing on Classic Mode. Then Byleth meets up with Dimitri outside, and after a bit of dialogue, Seteth then comes and tells Byleth if he was dreaming of something, although we do wonder if that really was Dimitri or if it was just a dream, because we did hear that he was killed at Gronder Field.
We also hear that Claude is reported to have gone missing, we don't know if he was killed in the fight or not, but his fate is unknown, and we even hear that Gilbert, who we met back at the Great Bridge, had also died in the Battle at Gronder Field, which you hear about when you talk to Annette this month. When you talk to Ashe, he wonders if Dedue had also died as well, because unlike on Verdant Wind, Dedue's fate is unknown to some of our units.
As for dialogue, I feel like Hilda's idea made more sense on Verdant Wind than on this route, but the disguising as Imperial Soldiers is more Byleth's idea, because on Verdant Wind, it is Hilda who comes up with the idea of disguising as Imperial Soldiers, and Lorenz is uneasy about it, but on this route, he asks if the plan is sufficient.
As the Gronder Field map didn't happen on this route, this would mean that the rest of the Blue Lions and Golden Deer students would never appear, in this case, on Azure Moon, you would fight Ignatz, Raphael, Lysithea, Leonie, and Hilda, and on Verdant Wind, you would fight Felix, Mercedes, Sylvain, and Ingrid if you didn't recruit either of them, and you would of fought Bernadetta and Petra there on both routes if you didn't recruit them. We did fight Ashe and Lorenz, and I was able to re-recruit them, they are the only out-of-house students that are fought in Silver Snow, the rest don't ever appear if they were not recruited.
Seteth has another supply quest for this month, and there is another from a soldier at the Knight's Hall, what you have to do is pick up Lavandula grass at the Greenhouse, then give it to him to complete the quest.
Our next task will likely be at Fort Merceus, which is known as the Impregnable Fortress, and it is not an easy task, as it is a very defensive fortress in the Empire, and once that is captured, we can then go to Enbarr, as that is where Edelgard has retreated to after how much wounds she has received in the Battle at Gronder Field.
