Five years before Rhea's disappearance, she wrote a letter to Byleth before the events of the Holy Tomb. Byleth receives the letter from Claude, and it tells her about a hidden treasure in the Holy Tomb, the same place we fought the Flame Emperor, but there is a trap there that is said to drive off thieves, so we must prepare for the fight ahead.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is Rhea's paralogue, and in order to attempt this paralogue, you will need to have unlocked Rhea's C Support with Byleth before the timeskip. Byleth receives a letter from Rhea, which was written five years ago, and the treasure is at the Holy Tomb, which was where we fought the Flame Emperor. This paralogue is available on all routes except Crimson Flower, the difference is the person that gives Byleth the letter from Rhea, so in Verdant Wind, Claude is the one that gives Byleth the letter.
You can bring up to 12 units on this map, and there are a lot of Phantom Soldiers, and a new type of Monster units called Altered Golems, they are mechanical figures created by the Church of Seiros, and they act as patrol guards, they will not engage in combat unless you provoke them. A lot of the Phantom Soldiers are challenging, as they are Advanced Class units, or Master Class with the Bow Knights. There is a Warlock that has Bolting, and the Snipers and Bow Knights have extra range with bows, and there are two Bishops on this map, both have Physic.
When you have defeated about every Phantom Soldier on this map, this will remove the stat boosts on the Altered Golems, their weapon is Lance of Light+, it deals magic damage and has a high hit chance, the Golems have Anti-Magic Armor, so their barriers are immune to magic attacks, and they have Swordbreaker+, giving them a huge advantage against Sword units. The Altered Golems have a Staggering Blow, it is Light-Lance Barrage, it works as magic damage, and it reduces Res by 5 on contact against any targets in the wide range. If you break the Altered Golems' barriers, you will earn Mythril, which can be used to repair rare weapons, like the Blessed Lance and many other weapons.
The bosses on this map are four Phantom Generals, and you have to defeat them to complete this paralogue, and they are tough opponents, the Fortress Knight is very defensive, and is weak to magic attacks, and he will drop a Spirit Dust when defeated, his Battalion is Phantasmal Infantry, which have Disturbance. The two Paladins have well rounded stats, with good Defense and Speed, and they have a Silver Lance, the Paladins' Battalion is Phantasmal Cavalry, which use Assault Troop. The Dark Bishop has Phantasmal Magic Corps, which use Resonant Flames for the Gambit, the Dark Bishop has good Magic and Res, but his Defense is not that great, so weapons can work well against him, if you have saved some Gambits, you can use them to weaken the Phantom Generals so you can defeat them easier.
After completing this paralogue, you will earn the Seiros Shield, which heals HP when equipped, and if unit has the Crest of Seiros, you restore even more HP, but the downside is that the only unit that has the Crest of Seiros is Edelgard, and on the Crimson Flower route, you cannot obtain the Seiros Shield. The nice thing about it is that it reduces damage from monster attacks, and the Crest item for Seiros is Sky Dragon Sign, I do wonder if Crests had any connection to dragons, as the Immovable was Saint Indech, and the Crest item is Water Dragon Sign, and Sky Dragon Sign is the Crest item for Seiros, so I do wonder if it has any connection to the Immaculate One.
Before the Battle at Gronder, we get a scene where there is fog at Gronder Field, and spoilers alert, the next battle is not a fog of war map, because if it was, then it would be the hardest map in the game. Then we celebrate Ferdinand's birthday, no wonder this guy has to have his birthday on the day we set out to Gronder Field and take part in a large death battle, and it's not the only time, because the mock battle at Chapter 1 also took place on Ferdinand's birthday.
