Here it is, the battle at Gronder Field, the very same place the Battle of the Eagle and Lion took place 5 years ago, except this time, it is not a mock battle. We soon learn who the leader of the Faerghus troop is, and they are not holding back in this fight, and neither is Edelgard and the Imperial troops, so this will be one tough fight.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is time for the Battle at Gronder Field, and we get a cutscene that is almost the same as the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, but this time, it is a darker and more serious, because this is not a mock battle, and we learn that Dimitri was alive this whole time, and wants to kill every last one of them. The music is Between Heaven and Earth, which is a darker remix of Blue Skies and a Battle.
What we have to do is defeat Edelgard and Dimitri, and they are not holding anything back in this fight, Edelgard has Hubert on her side and two Imperial Generals, the Sniper on the ballista would be Bernadetta, and the Assassin would be Petra if they were not recruited. On Dimitri's side, he has Dedue and a bunch of Kingdom Generals, the Swordmaster would be Felix, and the Bishop would be Mercedes, and if you didn't recruit them, they would have Heroes' Relics, making them much harder to fight, Felix has the Aegis Shield, and Mercedes has the Rafail Gem. If you have recruited them, you would fight weaker Generals without Crests, Personal Abilities, or Heroes' Relics, but they are challenging opponents.
Once you set foot on the central hill, Dimitri will charge into battle, not even caring about his allies or his safety, as all he cares about is killing Edelgard, and he even sends his Kingdom army against us, and two reinforcements appear. On the northern side are three Paladins, one being a Kingdom General, that would be Sylvain, and on the eastern border are two Fortress Knights and a Pegasus Knight, which would be Ingrid, and she has Lúin if she is not recruited, and for some reason, Sylvain would not have the Lance of Ruin, even when he is not recruited.
The Imperial General Assassin is a very evasive opponent with the Sword of Zoltan, and she is even harder to beat if Petra was not recruited, when you have defeated her, Edelgard will set the central hill on fire, and I wasn't sure if you had to defeat Bernadetta as well. After the central hill is in flame, Hubert will advance towards the burning central hill. Hubert has some powerful dark magic spells, but his Defense is really low, so physical weapons can defeat him without too much problems, but his Fiendish Blow powers up his magic attacks.
On the Kingdom side, Dedue is a very defensive unit, so magic attacks can make quick work of him, so unless your magic unit is equipped with Thyrsus, Dedue has a Tomahawk.
I can go over the items of each units, Bernadetta will drop a Killer Bow, a Paladin has a Lampos Shield, you can steal a Master Seal from Dimitri and Edelgard, a Speed Ring from Dedue, and every unit has a Concoction, and in the chest is an Umbral Steel.
Time to go over the house leaders, starting with Dimitri, he is in his unique class of High Lord, and he has the Hero's Relic of Areadbhar, and with his Crest of Blaiddyd, allowing him to use Atrocity, which deals bonus damage to any unit, he has insane strength, while also having good Charm and Dexterity. His King of Lions Corps has Wave Attack, which deals bonus damage to Armored units, and it has a wide range. He has Counterattack, so he can counter your attacks from any range.
Edelgard is a very challenging opponent, as she is in her Armored Lord class, and she has good Defense, HP, Strength, and Charm, and she has Aymr, a weapon tied to the Crest of Seiros, and she can use Raging Storm, allowing Edelgard to act again, and she is capable of wiping out a lot of your units on one turn. She has the Sword of Seiros, which Rhea had back in Chapter 12, and Edelgard can get the full effect of it with the Crest of Seiros. Like Dimitri, Edelgard also has Counterattack, but she also has Armored Effect Null, which protects her from bonus effects against armored units, and with her high Charm stat, her Battalion of Supreme Armored Co. has Raging Flames, this is a very powerful Battalion, and it will very likely hit. She is very tough to take down, so having some Gambits available to weaken her a bit, although you might end up using some on the Demonic Beasts on her side of the field.
Then after the fight, we go through a bunch of scenes, the first one is where we learn about Dimitri's fate after the battle, then Lysithea gives us a bit of backstory about some of the mages on Edelgard's side, and then a bunch more dialogue before continuing on with the story.
