After stopping Ryoma and Xander's fight, they find the two had been mind controlled by someone, and we cannot fight against them, as they are way more powerful than our group, so our best chance is to avoid fighting them, and find out what the cause of their attacks are, and where Corrin is.

It is back to Kingswood for this chapter, and we have both Xander and Ryoma attacking us, as if they are being controlled. You cannot defeat them in battle, even if you try to, they will get up right away, and they are much more powerful, and they can easily take down your units, so don't try and fight them, just try and get away from them.
Your first objective is to capture S Field Fort and secure an escape route, then after that we get a cutscene where Corrin shows up, and she has also been mind controlled, much like Ryoma and Xander, and we then find Iago, he is at Upstream Fort, and he is a tactician from Nohr, and Leo does have dialogue when you have him fight Iago. You then have to capture W Field Fort, and after that, you then have to fight against Iago, he is a Sorcerer, and his does have good Magic and Res, but he has low Defense, having your units that use weapon attacks can be good against him.
After Iago retreats, Ryoma, Xander, and Corrin will no longer be mind controlled, and you must not let them be defeated. You do get some side missions, one of them is to stop the Sage, which is creating lightning, which can come down and attack your units, and once the Sage is down, this will stop the lightning, and you gain support points with Sakura for completing that sub mission. The other sub mission is to defeat the reinforcements, two Soldiers, two Fighters, and two Archers, and defeating these reinforcements increases support points with Elise.
The three forts are occupied by Mages, and defeating them is part of your objective, they first appear when Iago retreats, and he will then be at E Wood Fort, and defeating him will then complete the mission. To get Anna's Mementos for this map, it is located between S Field Fort and Rockface Fort. Then we get a cutscene where we receive a bunch of Gleamstones, which leaves only one remaining, we then get Ryoma, Xander, and Corrin unlocked. For items, you get a Hammer from a chest, the Chest Key is from a reinforcement Archer, the Boulder Fort Captain has a Steel Lance, and you get a Master Seal from Iago.
Going over the new units, starting with Ryoma, he is equipped with Raijinto, which is his sword, he is a Swordmaster and can be promoted to High Prince. Ryoma has very good stats, his best stat is Speed, and he has good Strength, Skill, and Luck, and his skill is Astra, which increases the speed of Regular Attacks and Strong Attacks, this is the best Skill Crest in the game, because this allows your units to attack faster, every unit in the game can put that to great use, and Ryoma is already a fast attacker, he is one of my favourite characters to play as in this game, you will see when I play as Ryoma in one of the next few chapters.
Next is Xander, he has Siegfried with him, and he is a mounted unit. His class is Paladin, and he can be promoted to Crown Prince, Xander has one of the highest HP stats in the game, he is one of few that can reach 999 HP at the highest level, but aside from that, Xander's best stat is Luck, his playstyle is similar to Frederick's, the difference is Xander uses a sword, and he is not that bad of a unit in combat. Xander's skill is Aegis, which reduces damage from bows and magic, and it increases based on the Luck stat, this does pair well with Xander once he starts getting other skills.
And last up is Corrin, I have read that she is not one of the best units in the game due to her slow attack speed, even with Astra. She also uses a sword, Yato can only be equipped by her, and her stats aren't too impressive, she has good HP, her best stat is Luck, it doesn't even help that you unlock Ryoma at the same time as Corrin, meaning you are not very likely to ever use Corrin too much in the game, and Ryoma is already one of the best sword users in the game. Corrin's skill is Dracoshield, which decreases the damage the Vangaurd receives while in Pair Up, Corrin's main use is to pair up with other units and act defensively, it is kind of like Robin's Solidarity where it boosts damage when paired up. As for class, Corrin's starting class is Nohr Princess, and her promoted class is Nohr Noble.
