I have decided to go with a Custom Tourney themed around a series, and the one I picked is Fire Emblem, the reason I went with that is because Fire Emblem Awakening has been out for 10 years in Japan, or 9 outside of Japan, because it came out to the US and Europe one year after it came out in Japan. I went with a Fire Emblem themed tournament because there are 8 Fire Emblem characters playable in this game, despite the fanbase being against the overrepresentation of Fire Emblem in Smash Bros., we did have online tournaments themed around various series, but none of them have been themed around Fire Emblem, likely because we have three stages in the base game, and DLC stages never appear online.
The characters that can be used for that one if you are interested are Marth, Lucina, Roy, Chrom, Ike, Robin, Corrin, and Byleth, and the stages that can appear are Castle Siege, Arena Ferox, Coliseum, and Garreg Mach Monastery. Out of the four stages from the Fire Emblem series, two of them are actual areas in the Fire Emblem series.
I went with allowing every item to appear, because the only item from the Fire Emblem series is the Killing Edge, so I didn't want to have the Killing Edge be the only item to appear, or have items that are themed around weapons, like the Beam Sword or any other item, but in the end, I went with allowing every item to appear, I mean they had an Online Tourney themed around the Kirby series and it allowed every character on the roster.
I did change around the rules, this time it is now a time battle that lasts for 4 minutes, because I didn't find stock battles to be that interesting in any Custom Tourneys I have done, and I chose the character for this one, I went with Robin, as he is one of the main characters from Fire Emblem Awakening.
I don't watch CPU battles, and there is a chance that I get a repeated stage during this run because there are only four stages in the Fire Emblem series, I won't list the stages that appeared, but I will list the songs that played during those matches, as any Fire Emblem song can play on any Fire Emblem stage, so here's the list of songs that played.
