For this week's Surprise Trade, I will be trading Frillish, this Water/Ghost-type Pokémon has been around since Gen 5, and I do have both the male and female forms for Surprise Trade. I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and I went with Bold for the Nature, Modest does work as well, I chose Bold as the Frillish line tend to be on the defensive side, and some of them have either Water Absorb or Cursed Body, I didn't bother with Damp because it's not an Ability you want on Frillish or its evolved form Jellicent.
The Egg Moves I went with were Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, Pain Split, and Strength Sap, it can get Acid Armor and Mist for other Egg Moves, I will list which parents in the Amorphous Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Acid Armor: Jellicent
Bubble Beam: Pincurchin
Confuse Ray: Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Duskull, Dusclops, Spiritomb, Dusknoir, Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, Phantump, Trevenant, Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist
Mist: Shellos, Gastrodon (Requires Chain Breeding)
Pain Split: Solosis, Duosion, Reuniclus, Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist, Mimikyu
Strength Sap: Drifblim

Out of all the moves, Strength Sap is the one that stands out, and to get Mist, which I didn't bother to go with, the Shellos line learn it from a bunch of evolution lines, like Lotad, Wooper, and Wingull, as well as Lapras and Eiscue. While its evolved form Jellicent can learn Acid Armor, I decided not to go with that, as it is a move it learns when evolved.
Next are Frillish's level up moves, it can get Absorb, Water Gun, Poison Sting, Night Shade, Water Pulse, Rain Dance, Hex, Brine, Recover, Shadow Ball, Whirlpool, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, and Water Spout. It evolves into Jellicent at Level 40, and it can relearn Acid Armor.
Next are TMs and TRs, I will be going over what Jellicent can learn, it can get Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Safeguard, Giga Drain, Will-O-Wisp, Imprison, Trick Room, and Round for possible moves, and for TRs, it can learn Surf, Ice Beam, Psychic, Blizzard, Waterfall, Sludge Bomb, Taunt, Muddy Water, Dark Pulse, Energy Ball, Sludge Wave, Scald, and Dazzling Gleam, and it can get Poltergeist as a Tutor move.
Back in Gen 5, Jellicent was a great wall, it was one of the best teammates for Ferrothorn, because Jellicent resisted most of the types Ferrothorn was weak to, but with buffs to Dark-type moves, specially Knock Off, Jellicent has fallen to the lower tiers because of the heavy damage from Knock Off, and Ferrothorn no longer resisting Dark-type moves.
It has good HP and Special Defense for stats, and a good set it can work with is Scald, Hex, Strength Sap, and Will-O-Wisp, this is a set I used with Jellicent in online battles in this game. Jellicent can go with a full Special Attacker with Surf, Shadow Ball, Psychic, and Energy Ball with a Choice Specs, it could go Sludge Wave or Ice Beam if it needs to. Jellicent can even work in Trick Room teams, and with Water Spout, that can deal a lot of damage to its opponents, it can go with Giga Drain on a defensive set, but I prefer Recover or Strength Sap, as those are better options, it can even go with Taunt for a status move if it wants.
In Double Battles, Jellicent is a Pokémon that works in Trick Room and it can put Water Spout to great use, it can work well with slow Pokémon like Ice Rider Calyrex, Rhyperior, and many other Pokémon. As a Trick Room setter, Porygon2 or Dusclops tend to be better at that role, and Jellicent faces competition with other Water-type Pokémon when used in Double Battles, it's not a bad Pokémon, it's just there are a lot of options to choose from.
In the main story, Frillish's late evolution level is kind of a drawback, and Jellicent is at least a decent Pokémon in terms of being defensive, and while it was one of the best walls in Gen 5 with its type combo, the buff to Knock Off has caused Jellicent to fall to the lower tiers in the competitive scene, and as for preferred Ability, I tend to prefer Water Absorb, so that way Jellicent can switch in on any Water-type moves, and Cursed Body is good for that chance of disabling one of the target's moves.
