Timer glitch discovered by chris7 today! This will save likely 40+ seconds in Reverse Dungeon Order!

Hearts are measured in sixteenths but only display in quarters. Normal damage sources only deal in multiples of a quarter but fire and ice elemental damage sources are continuous damage ticks over time in increments of sixteenths. So it's possible to take flame damage and with good timing put out the fire and stop your health at 1/16th of one heart.

Heat and underwater timers are based on how much health Link currently has, one second per eighth heart, or 8 seconds per full heart. It turns out that if you have an odd number of 16ths (1/16th, 3/16th, 5/16th etc), it rounds that number down to the nearest 8th to determine how much time you will get. So for example 3/16th becomes 2/16th=1/8th for 1 second on the timer. However they should have rounded up, because for 1/16th the timer considers you to have 0 health, and thus never even begins. This allows us to complete fire temple with 1/16th of a heart, no tunic and no fairies. Literally any damage source will immediately kill you, and if you ever accidentally grab a heart, the timer will immediately initiate at 8 seconds, probably killing you soon too lol.
