Firewatch (Xbox Series S) - Gameplay

Today we're taking a look at Firewatch on the Xbox Series S.
My immediate impressions so far:
Firewatch was one of my favorite games the year it released in 2016. It was simply a magical ride with more character in and chemistry between the two protagonists than I've seen in most AAA games. I genuinely found myself caring a great deal about Henry and Delilah and their shared adventures and mysteries. Such a remarkable game.
Playing it on the Series S was a pleasant experience with nice and crisp visuals and excellent overall performance. However, the console is running the One S version and it hasn't been enhanced in any way besides by the hardware itself. The auto HDR added some really nice effects along the way, although it could get a bit too aggressive at times. Especially during the time with sunset where the enhanced orange color was nearly unbearable. However, at any other time of the day, the added HDR made the game shine spectacularly.
All in all, the game ran extremely smooth with quick load times and excellent performance with no issues to speak of.
The game seems to run at 1080p at 30fps, but I sadly don't have the proper tools to either check or verify.
The game was recorded directly on the console to an external HDD. No postwork has been done.
