First days of learning to longboard | TheFlood
Can I learn to longboard despite being older, out of shape, and not standing on a skateboard in probably 20 years?
No plans to downhill or do anything fancy. Looking to push around the neighborhood and cruise a bit, get a little activity, and enjoy the ride while learning a new skill! Seemed like a great idea. After checking around online I decided the LandYachtz Drop Hammer would be perfect for me. Drop through that's nice and low to I don't need to bend deep when pushing, fat wheels and a stable comfortable base to handle rough roads and push around the flatlands. Plus - it's beautiful.
Now I'm typically on twitch as a video game streamer and everyone seems hilariously interested in my potential for injury so I'm trying to document the journey a little bit. Also so I can watch my own progress/development.
If YOU have any great longboard tips or suggestions based on what you've seen in the video... how can I get stronger/better/faster and enjoy this journey even more I'd love to hear them!
Also: do I keep recording the daily progress!? Are you into this!?
All of this shot quick and dirty with an iPhone and DJI Osmo.
