Mighty No. 9 is the new game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and Comcept. The game had a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, but suffered a series of delays. Now that it has launched for pretty much every platform imaginable.

Using the classic Mega Man DNA, Mighty No 9 sees the hero Beck trying to stop a robot uprising by platforming his way through various levels, beating the boss at the end and taking their powers for his own. But does it live up to it's revered inspiration?

(This video was recorded directly after a 3 hour stream of the game on launch day and comprises my initial impressions after said stream.)
