ABOUT THE GAME
Nemesis: Distress is a multiplayer Sci-Fi horror game and the main purpose is to survive and get out of the spaceship. At the start of each game the player will be able to choose from 8 playable characters, each specializing in one of five professions. The player has the option to work with the team and complete missions to survive or play as a traitor and sabotage the rest. Throughout the game, players will have to face terrifying creatures that will try to get the player killed. These creatures are blind but sensitive to sound so you will need to be very careful about the sound you make. To cope with survival, players will have tools and equipment such as: noise detector, hacking tool, oldpipe etc. at the start of the game and will be able to find more equipment during the game
Each time they enter the ship the objectives will be randomly choosen, enemies will spawn in different areas and items placement will change up as well. They’ll have one random main goal and during the game several malfunctions will appear and they’ll need to fix them or some of the systems will broke up and the game gets more difficult. Each fixed malfunction grants them more time for the main mission but if they failed they’ll lose time for the main mission timer. Additionally every character has a different secret quest. The main mission is marked on the map as a blue circle, in which you must find a specific item / or do something. Malfunctions are marked on the map as an exclamation mark with a red border.
During the game creatures adhere to an evolution style in ecosystem. Quick example: Starting from the eggs, coming into larvae, larger larvae and ending as a spiders. All of those listed, with the exception of eggs, cause different effects on the character.
