32We take a very quick first look at Volcanoids, a game where you control a gigantic steampunk-inspired drillship!
Evil robots have decided to try to kill everyone by exploding a volcano and our job, as drillship operatives, is to calm down the volcano.
There's survival, resource gathering and HUGE VOLCANIC EXPLOSIONS!
The game is in pre-alpha so is not reflective of the final version.

Volcanoids is an upcoming steampunk survival game set on an island. Players attempt to survive the natural elements of the island such as volcanic eruptions, enemy cog race, and potentially hostile survivors through interaction, scavenging for resources, upgrading drillships and crafting.
Core features:
Mobile player-made bases (drillships)
Protection of player-made structures while the player is offline
Cleaning mechanic (volcano blast) that destroys all abandoned structures on the surface - ensures good performance
Changing envrionment
End goal - silencing the volcano
Supporting singleplayer and multiplayer (PVP and PVE)
Strong focus on steampunk visuals
