First Look - Into The Stars - Welcome To Ark 13!

This was yet another unknown game that came known to me by way of that scammer posing as me. Their PR firm contacted me about him and the rest, as they say, is history. There's a ton of stuff to do at the front of the game, a bunch of things to figure out and no 100% correct way to play it. Tons of choices to make between ship load and crew, and then finally you are on your journey. Stop at every planet and harvest anything and everything possible, or grab only what you need and go for as long as possible without stopping. Both have their merits and both have their risks. Murder death killing from horrible aliens, or running out of fuel and drifting to a planet that has none of the resource you need to get moving again. I enjoy the ship piloting, dealing with the emergencies that come up, and I really like the combat. The planet exploration, probing, and mining are a nice touch as well. All in all, I can see myself getting lost in this game if I'm not careful!

My thanks to the folks at Fugitive Games and their PR firm for not being taken in by the scammer, and for actually hooking me up with Into The Stars. I haven't had a lot of success, but it's still a very fun game. I have to keep prying myself away from it to get back to work! :(
