While the development team is said to be happy to announce Qubes 4.1.1-rc1, it aims to consolidate all security patches, bug fixes and upstream template OS upgrades that have occurred since the first Qubes 4.1.0 release in February. It is stated that the version, which is configured on the 5.15 Linux kernel by default, contains many updates compared to the first 4.1.0 version .While reminding that this is a test version and should be used only for testing purposes, testers were asked to report the errors they detected. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the process by reporting the errors they have detected so far.
What’s new in Qubes 4.1.1?
Qubes 4.1.1-rc1 includes numerous updates over the initial 4.1.0 release, in particular:
All 4.1.0 dom0 updates to date
Fedora 36 template (upgraded from Fedora 34)
Linux kernel 5.15 (upgraded from 5.10)
