I received Starship Rubicon in my e-mail and installed it, with an intent to check it out a bit over the weekend. If it was any good, down the road I would do a First Look video and maybe a bit more. I REALLY liked the game a lot when I finally got my hands on it. It was a bit odd at first, considering the controls are totally different than what you'd expect. Once I figured it all out, I was hooked. My hour or two of fiddling around with Starship Rubicon became 4 or 5 hours. Me likey! So, what is Starship Rubicon? Well, it's a space game similar to asteroids in the movement and mechanics, but it has many roguelike elements, actual enemies, and a bit of FTL thrown into the mix. It's hard to really pin down, but it's worth checking out!
