First Look - The Weaponographist - Ep. 1 - Pigs Un Blanket!
16Welcome to the Phreak Show everybody. The Weaponographist released today on steam! Of course, by the time this is uploaded, it will have released yesterday more than likely. I showcase my somewhat lacking skills The Weaponographist. There are some games I do well in, a few I'm good in, and many I am bad in. I think I'm at the upper end of bad, but still bad at this game. Nonetheless it has been a blast to showcase and next week I'll show you all a bit more! :)

What Is The Weaponographist?
The Weaponographist is roguelike game, all about staying active. If you were a fan of The Binding Of Isaac, you'll enjoy The Weaponographist as well. There's a few things that sets it apart of other games in the genre. First, you have to constantly kill enemies to keep your power bar up, if it ever reaches 0 you lose your strength. It forces you to move quickly and keep moving. Additionally all the weapons are very very temporary, so you scramble to get new ones with the ones you are using break. Finally, you may die, but you return to town where you can spend your GOOP to get upgrades to bolster your chances of success. Onward to victory, or death...:)
My thanks to the folks at Puuba and Mastertronic for allowing me to showcase The Weaponographist and providing me with a press copy. The game has been a blast the little bit of time I've had to play it and I've already set aside some time for more this weekend!
