Building the first plane in career mode can be fraught with danger and explosions. This tutorial shows how to build a really stable and noob-friendly plane using the components from the initial aeroplane tech.

This is the vanilla version of the game (version 1.1) with no mods other than my 'DasTactic' icon-flag (which doesn't change anything in the build or operation of the craft).

The tutorial covers:
* 0:25 Fuselage - Mk1 Cockpit, Science Jr, Tail Connector (usually more trouble than it's worth)
* 3:07 Engine placement - Center of Thrust through Center of Mass, Jet fuel vs Rocket fuel, Air intake
* 6:19 Tail fin and Tail wings - Moving out of jet exhaust
* 8:58 Main wings - Aerodynamics
* 11:37 Control surfaces
* 12:10 Redistributing weight and lift - Better stability
* 15:47 Wheels - Don't use the single wheel!
* 20:10 Adding Science
* 20:57 Testing control surfaces
* 23:12 Tweaking control surfaces - Setting pitch, roll and Yaw. Setting limits.
* 24:37 Adding parachutes - (Need to put these on their own staging)
* 25:15 Action groups - For easier science
* 26:22 Testing the craft - (Fixing the parachute staging)
* 27:07 Lift off - Alt + WASDQE to change trim
* 31:00 Landing - With parachutes

Hope this is helpful. :)

--------------------- EDIT ---------------------
Please note that the wings are slightly over the entry door. In this instance the Kerbalnaut cannot EVA because the door is blocked.
