Streaming Opposing Force second of the two extensions to Half-Life probably worked out better - I had Blue Shift as a gentle ease back in to the franchise ready for the tougher—and more entertaining—campaign that was released two years prior by @gearboxofficial.

Encountered some inconvenient-but-not-game-breaking bugs involving weapons plus the final portal not triggering (you can't notice because of the stellar editing job I did). But this was a great campaign that reminded me of all the bits I loved from Half-Life. As much as I hated Xen in the original game, Opposing Force reminded me how good the rest of the game really was.
