» ABOUT THE GAME - Ostranauts is a hardcore noir space-sim. Manage life aboard your ship, and beware the cost of every decision you make. Scavenge and explore the boneyard. Create, build, and customize your ship. Hire a crew to help but remember, nothing is more certain than death and taxes. You start off as an illegal, usually massively in debt having taken out a punitive mortgage on a crappy ship and every day can be a struggle to survive.
» DETAILS OF THE SERIES - The overarching goal of this Ostranauts series is to balance investments in both the ship and the crew. Captain Rhadamant spent time to learn hacking and EVA operation skills prior to taking on a mortgage for a ship, as well as curing micro-g hypovolemia, fragile and impaired vision. I will not be min/maxing profit, but instead playing towards the spirit of role play and game immersion.
» LENGTH OF THE SERIES - This episode is part of a marathon stream where my community votes to pick a game for me to play for a marathon that occurs once a month. While it is possible for a series to continue beyond the marathon, it is also unusual and for that matter no feedback, tips, tricks or suggestions can be incorporated into the series.
