The game has some weird glitches. Once it just took away one of my power ups. It was a "ghost" power up which is the worst power up, so it was a good thing. But still, it shouldn't be possible. Also, sometimes at the very start of the race it gives you some energy for boost. Normally, you start at zero energy.
