Kage (Shadow of the Ninja in the US, Blue Shadow in Europe) is a platform video game developed by Natsume in 1990 exclusively for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
References to ninja and brutal martial arts were removed from the title of the European version of the game due to content regulation policies in place in Europe at the time.
In the same year, the game's development team also developed Ninja Gaiden Shadow, which combined elements of Kage and the popular Ninja Gaiden series.
