Mappy is a Namco computer arcade game released in 1983. Distributed in the US by Bally/Midway. It is a platform game with the main character - the mouse Mappi - and cat opponents. The game was released under the 8-bit Namco Super Pac-Man console, which supported horizontal scrolling of the screen. The name Mappy is taken from the Japanese word "mappo" - a contemptuous nickname for a police officer.
