Hello everyone! Welcome to my gameplay of Furi, a boss rush bullet hell that gave me so many mixed feelings. The concept is pretty interesting and there are some really cool mechanics, but I just hated how you were forced to dash to the direction you were aiming with your gun. Usually, in 2D games where you can aim with your mouse (twin-stick shooters mostly), you can move and dash to different directions using arrows or WASD, but not here, or at least not in the default settings (there is one setting hidden in the menu that allows you to change that, but it took me A LONG TIME to realize about it, so I will be facing most of the bosses in this game hating the dash).
With that being said, I love the parry in this game. The timing is perfect and it also heals you, best mechanic in the game.

Anyways, I will be releasing one video per boss, which will include my first attempt (because first tries are important), all my deaths (because... why not) and the full final attempt, when I can actually kill the boss. I might also include some small realizations in the middle of a fight.

This video includes the tutorial/first boss, The Chain, which was way easier when I realize about the issue with the dash.

Oh, also, in theory it is not that there is input lag with the dash... The problem here is you hold the dash here, so you can do longer or shorter ones, but if you just tap it, by default waits for a longer one and takes a small fraction to be released.
