Our Final Fantasy 14 journey continues! In today's video, I share my first impressions of the fisher job in ffxiv...and you could say that I'm hooked!

Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to TinyBlueGames! Today, we are taking a look at the fisher gathering job. This is the second gathering profession that I have tried in Final Fantasy xiv. I was really excited to check this job out as fishing is a fairly common component of most MMORPGs, and I was very curious to see if ffxiv would change things up like they do with most systems. I was not disappointed, between having to manage different types of bait, different fishing locations, and a fish collection book, there was already a lot to do with the gathering job from the get-go. Like everything I've come across, I'm very excited to see how this job will evolve as I get to higher-levels and ultimately into Shadowbringers content.

It should be noted that this isn't meant to be an expert guide for fishing in ffxiv, but more of a basic guide for starting to level the fisher job. As a relatively new ffxiv player, I have been enjoying giving my first impressions for the many different pieces of content this game has to offer. If you are interested in exploring the game yourself I suggest you check out the Final Fantasy 14 free trial. This trial lets you play the base game all the way to level 35, with no time restrictions. It was ultimately the free trial that convinced me to dive into the full game and the new Shadowbringers expansion!
