In today's video, we check out our first gathering skill in FFXIV: The Botanist Job. Like most systems in Final Fantasy 14, the gathering profession is a lot more in-depth than you would find in other MMOs

Gathering professions hold a special place in my heart as they are often the professions I prioritize when I start making gold in a game. I find them to be both relaxing, but also exciting as you are constantly looking for ways to gather more efficiently. I'm excited to see how complex botany (herbalism) get's as you get into higher level content in ffxiv, and how valuable it is at endgame.
