Guilty Gear is known for two things: 1. being really pretty, and 2. being one of the most complicated games in one of the most complicated subgenres in one of the most complicated genres in the medium. The developers, Arc System Works, have spent years trying to make the game more accessible for the layman to pick up and play, and despite valiant efforts, they've never quite gotten there. But with Strive, they've finally done it, and it shows: this is the most fun I've had with a fighting game in years.
