When I plug in my headphones after booting up, the headphones have no sound and the speaker remains on. If I restart after plugging the headphones in, the headphones work fine and the speaker is off. Then if I unplug the headphones, the speaker comes back on and plugging the headphones in again changes nothing -- speaker on, headphones silent. to fix this issue you might have tried to mess around in the sound settings and stuff and tried installing new drivers but in this video tutorial what i am showing is to fix it by enabling the Dell Realtek/ Waves MaxxAudio Service Application.

The laptop with the issue shown in the video is the dell inspiron 14 5425

This tutorial is for you if you have one or more of the following issues:
Headphones work only after restarting with headphones plugged in
My laptop doesn't detect earphones until I restart it
Realtek only recognizes headphones after restart
plug in my headphones realtek wont detect it the only temporary soloution is to plug in the headphones and then restart then randomly it works
tried updating my drivers but nothing works
