3. Update Windows. Make sure that your Windows system is up to date. To update Windows, follow these instructions:

Go to Settings.
Click on Update & Security.
Click on Check for updates.
Install any available updates.

4. Run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool can fix corrupted system files that may be causing the error. To run the System File Checker tool, follow these instructions:
