Fix GRUB Boot Error on Parrot Security OS USB | Rufus DD Image Mode Tutorial
If your Parrot Security USB shows the “GRUB version 2.12-tparrot3” screen and won’t boot, this video will show you exactly how to fix it. The issue usually happens because the boot files weren’t written correctly — often from using ISO mode in Rufus instead of DD Image mode.
In this step-by-step guide, I’ll show you how to:
• Reformat your USB drive the right way
• Write the Parrot ISO in DD Image mode
• Boot successfully into Parrot Security without GRUB errors
This fix also works for other Linux distros that drop into the GRUB prompt when trying to boot from USB.
