Step 1) Restart Steam, Run Steam as admin, restart your PC
Step 2) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, try running the game in compatibility mode.
Step 3) Verify the game files
Step 4) If receiving Anti-Tamper/something went wrong error try Spam clicking retry
Step 5) Exit Riot Vanguard from system tray
Step 6) If using ReShade, uninstall ReShade
Step 7) Remove CrashReport.exe & CrashReportDll.dll from game installation folder (Create backup first)
Step 8) Close Steam, go to Steam folder, create a backup of version.dll file and then delete it (skip this step if you don't have version.dll file)
Step 9) Clear download cache, try -dx11/-dx12/-d3d11 in launch options
Step 10) Turn off/close VPN, uninstall VPN
Step 11) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program/Windows Security and Firewall
Step 12) Perform a clean installation of graphics driver.

Step 13) AMD Users install AMD 25.2.1 Optional Update/AMD 25.1.1 Optional
Step 14) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 15) Optimize the game in Nvidia App
Step 16) Try Debug mode in the Nvidia control panel
Step 17) Try -dx11/-dx12 in launch options
Step 18) Close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, remove the undervolt, disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), Close all Razer peripherals software
Step 19) Unplug External devices such as hotas, wheel, pedals, , Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc.
Step 20) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 21) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings.

Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 22) Update BIOS
Step 23) (Skip this step if you are not able to launch the game) If able to launch the game, switch to Windowed mode, turn off frame generation, Turn off FSR/DLSS/ DLAA and lower down video settings
Step 24) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
