Bad firmware version is 1.0.4.46
Netgear released a firmware a few weeks ago that really makes a mess for those of us with multiple consoles on the Nighthawk x8000 routers. I assume others in the series have the same problem. This fix is ONLY for the connection issues that crept up over the last couple months if you have a Nighthawk router. This will not work for others.
NOTE: if you have set any port forwards for your console you will likely want to remove them. UPNP will need to take control of the game service ports in order to work correctly.
