Flashback is a remake of a platform game by Delphine Software International from 1992, resurrected by Ubisoft and released through digital distribution. The French company gave the task of remaking the game to a small game studio VectorCell. The story takes players into a distant future, and is set on Tytan – the biggest moon of Saturn. The main protagonist of Flashback is Conrad B. Hart – an agent of Galaxia Bureau of Investigation – who accidently discovers a plot by mysterious race of aliens against all life on the Earth. At the very beginning, the hero gets abducted by aliens who erase his memory. Fortunately, he had managed to send the most essential information about the plot to his friend in New Washington. Brainwashed, Hart escapes his captors – however, the aliens do not know that the agent created a backup version of his discoveries and saved it in a holocube.
